  1. Rubber hoses may only be used to convey the media specified in the conveyor’s design.

  2. Large-diameter high-pressure hoses must never exceed their rated working pressure.

  3. The temperature of the conveyed medium in rubber hoses should not exceed the manufacturer’s specified limits: oil, –40 to 120°C; air, –30 to 50°C; water and emulsions, below 80°C.

  4. Test tubes shall be kept clean and their interiors thoroughly rinsed to prevent foreign matter from entering the lumen, which could impede fluid delivery and damage the equipment.

  5. Rubber hoses should be routed as far as possible from heat sources. This helps prevent the hoses from degrading due to thermal exposure during installation or when used with insulating panels.
