  1. The bending radius of the hose must be at least 10 times its diameter. When the hose is bent in the hydraulic system’s piping, or when the degree of bending varies continuously with the actuator’s movement, the bending radius must remain no less than 10 times the hose’s diameter to prevent breakage or excessive deflection during operation.

  2. The coiled hose must operate within its specified minimum bending radius; it should not be used when the bending radius is less than half of the specified value, as this will significantly reduce its service life. Avoid sharp bends or abrupt turns.

  3. During installation and operation, the hose must remain untwisted. When installing and connecting the hose, ensure that no torsional forces are applied to it during operation.

  4. The connection section shall be freely suspended with a high-pressure steel-wire-reinforced hose to prevent bending due to its own weight.

  5. In the hydraulic system, the bending of the hose should lie in the same plane as the hose fitting and its plane of motion to prevent torsion. However, in special cases where fittings with wire‑braided ends must operate in two different planes, appropriate clamps shall be installed at suitable locations to divide the wire‑braided portion into two sections, ensuring that each section remains in its respective plane.

  6. High-pressure steel‑wire‑reinforced hoses shall be installed along the shortest possible path or following the equipment’s contour, with parallel routing whenever feasible. If a hose with metal wire reinforcement is excessively long or subjected to severe vibration, it should be securely clamped; however, for high‑pressure applications, avoid using clamps whenever possible, as pressure can cause deformation and lead to friction at the clamp location.

  7. When connecting pipelines with flexible hoses, avoid excessive tension; leave an appropriate length of slack to allow the hose some flexibility and prevent damage. When pressure is applied to braided steel‑wire hoses, both their length and diameter may change—typically by about 4%. Therefore, when bending the hose, do not start bending immediately at the fitting. For straight runs, ensure there is no tensile stress between the fitting and the coiled hose, and maintain sufficient slack to accommodate these dimensional changes.

  8. Do not wrap other electrical wires around hoses or pipes to make contact; instead, use spacers to prevent abrasion and rupture, or incorporate appropriate considerations into the piping design. Hydraulic hoses on actuators should be kept clear of friction with other components. When hydraulic actuators are in motion, connect the hydraulic lines using flexible hoses, and ensure during installation that the hoses do not come into contact with other parts, as relative sliding friction can damage the hoses.

  9. High-pressure wire‑braided hoses in hydraulic systems have a very short service life when operating at elevated temperatures; therefore, install these hoses as far as possible from heat sources.

  10. Ensure that the environmental conditions of the hydraulic system in which the high-pressure steel-wire-reinforced hose and fittings are installed are compatible.
